The city puts homeless people in shelters spends millions of dollars and has no oversight for the service providers. They ware-house people with no way out. There is no one to help them with job training, rehab, essential paper work and other services that can get them housing support from the county state or federal government. Even if they have some success there is no accountability and the people just end up back on the streets AS YOU CAN SEE.
An unscrupulous investor bought the Mobile Home Park in Anaheim Rancho La Paz AND raised the rent by 90%. The city council majority Mayor Harry Sidhu, Lucille Kring, Stapen Faessel, Trevor O'Neil and Jordan Brandman received large donations from the billionaire John Saunders that bought the mobile home park - so they voted NO to stop the ridiculous rent increases.
I stood up for a living wage in Anaheim and especially at Disneyland and the resort. The people of Anaheim financed this great industry and they should be required to pay a living wage. The Anaheim budget is a mess. We give free passes to Billionaires. The resort workers should get a living wage.
